Sitting stress: vagal nerve approach    With Coach Katy 🫵🏻Sitting is one of the most unnatural postures for the human body. With many of our lives requiring us to sit for various reasons, how can we combat the severity of the stress on the body?  The body doesn't differentiate between different forms of stress: physical, emotional, mental etc .... it's all  stress 😬 Of course movement is up there in the list but let's say we can't move because of workout environment or long commutes. A great and free approach would be to activate our vagus nerve, the 10th cranial nerve responsible for getting us out of fight and flight (stress mode) 🥊 and into rest and digest 🥰.
