Welcome to The Virtual Abs Academy! We are excited to have you joining us for the next few weeks.  Our goal is to help you learn to how to breathe, brace, and challenge the core in a safe and effective way, and get results, obviously!  It is simply a myth that going to the gym and doing a daily workout, doing yoga, training “abs”, or doing Pilates, etc will prevent or cure low back pain. In fact, commonly we exercise in poor positions creating cumulative trauma that eventually leads to pain and tissue damage. Luckily, with a little practice we can enjoy the benefits of fitness without compromising our backs!

Please do NOT skip over this lesson without watching the videos, they are THE MOST important part of this entire Abs Academy and will determine the level of your success in participation. This program is designed to start on a Sunday, Day 1.  So work through the intro videos, exercise library, and explanations before we begin Sunday.
